The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) of the Government of Karnataka shall conduct the centralized counselling for UG course (Medical-MBBS) and seats are allotted by merit selection which is based on National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET - UG) conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA).
Seat sharing and reservation as per the Consensual Agreement between Government Of Karnataka And the Association Of Minority Professional Colleges in Karnataka (AMPCK) in the matter of regulating admissions and fee structure for the Undergraduate course in private professional colleges of medicine sciences.
Eligibility criteria regarding age and qualifying marks are as per the Medical Council of India, Regulations on Graduate Medical Education,1997 Rule 4 Admission to the Medical Course - Eligibility Criteria.
Every student shall undergo a period of certified study extending over 4 ½ academic years divided into 4 phases from the date of commencement of their study for the subjects comprising the medical curriculum to the date of completion of the examination and followed by one year compulsory rotating medical internship (CMRI).
Candidates in possession of MBBS degree or Provisional MBBS Pass Certificate recognized as per the provisions of the NMC Act, 2019 and the repealed Indian Medical Council Act 1956 and possessing permanent or provisional registration certificate of MBBS qualification issued by the NMC/ the erstwhile Medical Council of India or State Medical Council and have completed one year of internship or are likely to complete the internship on or before the prescribed cut-off for a particular admission session, and are eligible in NEET-PG conducted by National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS).

The period of training for the award of various postgraduate degrees or diplomas shall be as follows:
Candidates who are in possession of recognized post graduate medical Degree/Provisional Pass Certificate (MD/MS/DNB) or an equivalent recognized qualification or are likely to be in possession of the same by the prescribed cut-off date for a particular admission session in accordance with eligible feeder specialty qualifications for super specialty courses, are eligible in NEET-SS conducted by National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS).

Candidate shall have passed with 50 percent of marks (optional subjects) in the 10+2 Science examination conducted by the respective state/central government authorities recognized as equivalent to the 10+2 Science examination by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (PCM) and or Biology (PCB / PCMB) as optional subjects individually. Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India equivalent to any of the above examinations is also valid.
Candidate shall have passed with 50 percent of marks in the D. Pharm course from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India.
The B.Pharm course lasts for eight semesters (four academic years) for regular students and six semesters (three academic years) for lateral entry students. The curricula and syllabi for the program shall be prescribed from time to time by the Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi.
